Blockrun Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Blockrun is a block puzzle game published by Vibe Kitchen Ltd. This page explains exactly what the game collects, what it does not, and how to have your data removed. It is written to describe the app as it actually behaves.

The short version

Blockrun has no accounts and asks for no personal information. It does not know your name, your email address, your phone number or where you are — beyond the country your device's settings point to. It shows no advertising.

It sends two things to our own server: a purchase receipt, so that something you paid for can be given to you, and anonymous gameplay statistics — such as how long the game was open and how far a game got — so that we can see how the game is played and make it better. No third party receives either.

The iPhone and Android apps also tell Meta (Facebook) when the app is installed and opened, when something is bought and how far a game got, so that we can see which of our ads work. On iPhone you are asked first, and if you say no, Meta is not allowed to link those events to you.

Deleting your data

You can have everything we hold about your device deleted, at any time, by asking us. There are three steps:

  1. Open Blockrun and go to the Profile tab. Your device identifier is shown there under Support — press and hold it to copy.
  2. Email it to hello@vibekitchen.ai with Delete my data as the subject.
  3. We delete the records and reply to confirm, within 30 days.

What is deleted: your device identifier, every purchase record attached to it, and every gameplay statistic recorded under it.

What is kept: only the transaction records that tax and accounting law obliges us to retain. These are kept for seven years, and once your identifier is deleted they are no longer linked to you or your device.

You can ask for a copy of the same records instead of deleting them, in the same way. We need the device identifier either way, because without accounts it is the only thing that tells us which records are yours. Deleting your purchase records means the purchases they represent can no longer be restored on a new device.

What we collect

A random device identifier. The first time you open Blockrun, the app generates a random identifier and stores it on your device. It is not derived from your hardware, your phone number, your advertising identifier or anything else about you, and it cannot be traced back to a person. It connects a purchase you made to the game that should receive it, and lets us count gameplay statistics per device rather than per visit. If you delete the app, that identifier is gone.

Purchase records. When you buy something, Apple or Google processes the payment and gives us a signed receipt. We send that receipt to our server, which checks it with the store and records what was bought, when, and the store's transaction identifiers. This is what lets us give you what you paid for, restore your purchases on a new device, and answer you if something goes wrong with an order.

Gameplay statistics. While you play, the game records a short list of events and sends them to our server with your device identifier, the kind of device (iPhone, Android or a web browser) and its operating system version (for example “iOS 18.1”) — not the model of phone. When the game is opened it also sends the device's time-zone setting (for example “Asia/Jerusalem”) and language setting (for example “he-IL”). Our server turns these into a country (“Israel”), keeps only the country, and discards the rest; this is approximate — it reflects how the device is set, not where it is. The events are:

We use these only to understand how the game is played — how many people play, how many are new, which countries they play from, for how long, where games tend to end, and whether purchases go through — so that we can improve it. Our server does not store your IP address with them, and they are never combined with information from any other source.

Advertising measurement (Meta). We advertise Blockrun on Facebook and Instagram. To know which ads bring players in, the iPhone and Android apps (version 1.2 and later) include Meta's software development kit, which reports these events to Meta:

On iPhone, Apple asks you whether to allow tracking before anything is sent. If you allow it, Meta receives the events with your device's advertising identifier and can match them to the ad you saw. If you do not, Meta receives them without the advertising identifier, marked as not to be used for tracking, and Apple only tells Meta in aggregate how its ads performed. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID in your device's settings. Meta's handling of this data is covered by Meta's privacy policy. The game in a web browser sends nothing to Meta.

Notifications. The iPhone and Android apps (version 1.3 and later) can send notifications, but only if you allow them when the app asks. Reminders — for example that a new daily challenge is ready — are scheduled on your phone itself and involve no server. So that we can also send occasional news about the game, the app receives a push token from Apple or Google and sends it to our server with your device identifier; the messages are delivered through Expo, the service the app is built with, which passes them to Apple or Google. The token identifies the app on your phone for delivering notifications and nothing else. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings, and the token is deleted from our server once Apple or Google tell us the app is no longer installed.

That is the complete list.

What we do not collect

Your payment details

We never see them. All payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google. Your card number, billing address and store account are theirs, not ours — we only ever receive a receipt confirming that a purchase happened. Their handling of your payment is covered by Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.

What stays on your device

Your game progress — your current game, diamonds, unlocked pieces, settings and personal bests — is stored on your device and is not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it. The gameplay statistics described above are a summary for us, not a copy of your progress, and cannot be used to restore it. Purchases are the exception: because they are recorded on our server, they can be restored on a new install or a new phone.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell or rent any data to anyone, and there are no data brokers or analytics providers involved. The third parties in the picture are Apple and Google, because they process the payments; Meta, which receives the advertising-measurement events described above from the iPhone and Android apps; and Expo, which delivers notifications to players who allowed them. Expo's handling of this data is covered by Expo's privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept while they are needed to support your purchases and to meet the tax and accounting obligations that come with selling something. Gameplay statistics are deleted automatically 13 months after they are recorded. The device identifier is kept for as long as any record attached to it is.

Children

Blockrun does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game asks for no name, contact details or location, and its gameplay statistics name no one. The only identifier that can leave the device is the advertising identifier, and only to Meta on an iPhone or Android device where tracking is allowed — which children's devices can block in their parental controls.

Your rights

You have the right to see what we hold about your device, to have it corrected, and to have it erased. All three are handled the same way, described under Deleting your data above, and none of them costs anything. If you are unhappy with how we answered, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will also be announced in the game.
